This course gives participants an introduction to Muslims in Britain, their basic beliefs and practices and help with public sector service development issues for Muslim communities. It helps in meeting the requirements of the new religion and belief regulations introduced in December 2003. It is suitable for those who are responsible for developing a community cohesion strategy and action plan and who wish to increase their knowledge about Islam.
