The CT ABRSM is a widely recognised and highly regarded course, providing flexible professional development that helps teachers to realise their full potential and refresh their approach to teaching. The CT ABRSM offers an opportunity to develop and enhance professional knowledge, skills and understanding. Teachers are encouraged to reflect upon, and think critically about, their teaching, both during the period of study and beyond. The assignments, projects and lesson observations, undertaken throughout the course, are specifically designed to provide opportunities to try new ideas and open discussions, with colleagues and subject mentors, provide a forum for evaluating the relative success of particular strategies in a given situation and building on this experience.
