Accounting for Management focuses on the crucial role which financial information plays in decisions made by management teams, and in the monitoring and planning of a business organisation's objectives. This is a four-year sandwich programme where the third year is spent in a paid professional placement. Professional exemptions from examinations include: The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting, The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) in England and Wales, The ICA of Scotland, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
