This programme is available through our Combined Honours degree programmes where you combine 2 related or unrelated subjects. It allows you you keep your career options open and to develop expertise in more than one subject area. The Business Administration programme aims to prepare you for a successful career in management. Graduates may be eligible for certain exemptions from the foundation stage exams of the: Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Chartered Insurance Institute, Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Computer Science provides a practical and balanced approach to the design and applications of computer systems. It combines a thorough grounding in programming and systems, with in-depth study of a range of technologies which underpin current work in computing. You choose either to study for 3-years full-time or four-year sandwich programme which includes the third year in a paid professional placement. Assessment is by a combination of exams and continuous assessment. The Aston Business School has a Grade 5 ranking for research and has obtained a perfect score (24/24) for the quality of its teaching.
