The MSc in Business Studies is particularly suited to the needs of graduates in non-business subjects. The course provides a broad introduction to key aspects of business and gives an excellent preparation for a career in management. It combines the theory and practice of management with the completion of a substantial, in-depth dissertation. The MSc in Business Studies is one of the best established and most popular course of its kind in the UK. There are eight prescribed modules and two elective modules in the taught part of the course: Accounting for Non Financial Managers; Applied Research; Economic Environment of Business; Management of Innovation; Marketing Management; Operations Management; Organisational Behaviour; and Strategic Management. £7,900. Fees may be paid in three instalments.

Examination, coursework & dissertation.

Entry Requirements
Good UK Honours Degree (minimum of a lower second class) or an overseas degree recognised by Aston University, plus two references. International students whose native language is not English and have not completed a full degree programme taught in English, will also need a TOEFL score of 600 (paper based) or 250 (computer based) with a TWE of 4.0 OR an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each section. Pre-sessional English language programmes are available for good applicants whose English qualification falls just short of these requirements.
