This course is relevant to all catering operations, such as pubs, hotels, restaurants, travel, contract catering, fast-food outlets, in hospitals, care and nursing homes, schools, prisons and armed forces. They will study about Introduction to food safety, By law, Food safety hazards, Taking temperatures, Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding of foods, Cooking, hot holding and re-heating of foods, Food handlers, Principles of safe food storage, Cleaning, Food premises and Equipment.

£41.40; £10 registration and certificate.

Assessment method
Assessments are made through completion of 30 multiple choice questions in a 1-hour examination.
