Course info
This course offers the opportunity to learn about the latest economic theory and practices in the context of different economic issues both nationally and internationally. It explores the role of government, producers and consumers and explains many of the issues and debates that feature in todays news and society in general. A high proportion of our economists go on to study economics, a business related degree course, law, accountancy, marketing and journalism. economics is a qualification well-respected by employers.

How much will it cost?
Free for UK or EU residents; £4650 per year for overseas Non-EU

Assessment method
Students are assessed through examination (100%) - the three short examinations in AS economics each comprise a case study, followed by a series of short answer questions. The three A2 modules are examined through case studies plus a longer structured question.

Entry Requirements
Students should have an ability to analyse simple data and to express oneself clearly on paper is desirable.
