This course consists of three units, two core units which are Principles of Nutrition; Influence on Dietary Choice and one specialist unit: Nutrition in Catering. Learners will investigate dietary intake and related bodily functions as well as the effects of storage, cooking and other processes, issues of disease, disorder and harm associated with the intake of foods.
