The School is recognised as an approved department for ESRC +3 awards. Broad arenas for investigation include: Inequalities in Health Research; Safety & Well-being; Modernisation, Managerialism & Social Services Research Group. Recent studies have included: Domestic Violence; Male Victims of Masculinity; Psychosocial & Material effects on Inequality in Men's Health; Child disability & Choices; Bi-lingualism & Immigration Issues, amongst others.

£3,168 full time, £1,584 part time.

Entry Requirements
Normally, at least a 2:1 or equivalent in an appropriate subject. Additionally, you may be required to attend an interview to discuss your research proposal. If your first language is not English, you will be expected to obtain one of the following: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 620 (paper)/260 (computer) scores.
