Follows a similar format, to the general Social Research course, whilst allowing for focus on specific fields of interest. Core modules comprised of: Researching Society; Qualitative & Quantitative Methods. There are also two modules chosen from the following specialisms: Comparative Labour Studies; Sociology of Education; Gender & International Development; Interdisciplinary Gender Studies; Race & Ethnic Studies; Sociology of Health; Social & Political Thought; or Sport, Politics & Society.

2006/07 £4975 full time; part time £1990.

Entry Requirements
Normally, an upper second class honours degree in any Arts or Social Science subject. If your first language is not English, you will be expected to obtain one of the following: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 620 (paper)/260 (computer) scores.
