This course covers the technical aspects of designing and creating safe, secure, robust and easy-to-use web-based applications It emphasises good practice, and the application of legal and professional standards, from an early stage You will investigate problems, both organisational and technical, of integrating a web presence into the operations of an organisation Enjoy access to outstandingly-equipped laboratories and powerful web server systems in our advanced new Technology Centre - discover our computing facilities Teaching and assessment make extensive use of the web and you'll be expected to create interactive websites You can benefit from an industrial placement during your third year, where you will gain essential, hands-on work experience and valuable contacts For all our computer science and computing degrees we run a common first year allowing you a large amount of flexibility to become more familiar with computing topics. You may then choose the most appropriate specialist route for your career goals.
